What is hard water? As water moves through the ground during the hydrologic cycle, it picks up minerals such as calcium and mangnesium.  Some of these minerals are dissolved by the water and becomes what is known as "hard water."   When water has a high mineral content, it is considered hard.  When water has lesser amounts of minerals, it is considered soft.

When these dissolved minerals
precipitate out of the water, they form hard water scale.  This scale can form in your pipes, hot water heater, dishwashers and more.   With continued buildup, it will result in reduced water flow, higher heating costs, and costly repairs or replacements to your appliances.

Hard water can leave mineral deposits on glasses, plug showerheads, create soap scum build-up, and leave your hair and skin dry, itchy and lifeless.

Today's high efficiency water softeners will soften your water with less salt use than ever before and better backwash efficiency.  Valves are easy to program.  For the ultimate in
both filtration and soft water, choose a "combo softener."
