Well Water Aeration Kit
- Eliminates Sulfur Odor
- Slightly Increases Borderline pH
The Aeration Kit alone is designed for water that contains hydrogen sulfide (H2S).
Aeration also enhances the performance of Catalox and Birm/AG media in more difficult applications as it begins the oxidation process which precipitates iron, manganese and hydrogen sulfide (H2S). This oxidization simply makes maintenance-free iron systems work more effectively.
This well water aerator consists of 3 parts combined into two stages. The first stage is the Hydrocharger, or Air Injector, that draws air into the water line prior to the pressure tank. Then, after the pressure tank, the air is mixed with the water in a Mixing Tank Assembly and the excess air is vented out the top. Be sure to check your iron level. If the iron level is higher than .3 ppm we recommend following the Aeration kit with an iron/sulfur system. Here is a link to our self-cleaning iron, sulfur, and manganese removal system - https://www.puriteam.com/products/PurHome-FTP-Iron-Sulfur-Manganese-Removal.html The Aeration has no limit to sulfur odor.
This system is designed to be used with a Submersible pump; if you have a Jet Pump you will need an additional air pump and flow switch which adds an additional $649.00 to the cost of the Aeration kit. If you have a Jet Pump please call us toll free @ 888-491-4100 to place your order.

I got the well water aeration system installed today without any issues. I then ran the showers and faucets to purge the system of the old smelly water. Within an hour the sulphur smell was totally gone. Wonderful!
Easy to install and works great!
After having a new well system installed, we were getting a terrible sulfur smell. The well tested negative for any bacteria so my local well company quoted me over 1500 dollars to install an aerator. I ordered this system and installed it myself for a fraction of the cost. Install took about 30 minutes and the smell is gone!
Stench, color, everything magically gone! Love my well water.
